A little About Me
I have over 20 years of Level Design and Game Design experience from countless time spent producing content for Dungeons & Dragons. I’m not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast or Hasbro, I’ve worked on projects for Dungeon & Dragons for my personal sessions as a Dungeon Master. I’ve also been playing games since I was old enough to hold a controller, and was an early PC gamer of the Wolfenstien3D era. Though, I did go back to school to learn how to do some art, scripting and 3D modeling.
I graduated from the Academy of Art in San Fransisco in 2018 with a degree in Game Development with an emphasis in 3D Art. I also have a Bachelor’s with a dual major in Business Management and Marketing. I have experience as a Producer for a currently unreleased video game title. I have a background in Project Management, Leadership, and Training working for previous entities such as Xerox, Apple, and Capital One. I officially fulfilled my contract as a Marine as of March of 2008. I live and work in Oregon as a Freelance Artist and Producer for various projects. If you want to see more of my stuff (the good, the bad, the ugly) you can find it [here].
Something additional about me is that I like to give credit where credit is due. So I include some thanks to some folks who were pivotal in certain areas and at certain times of my development.
Special Thanks
Special thanks to Charles Huenergardt as a personal mentor. You always question my work and push me to my best. You led me to network early on in my education, and you forced me to pay attention to the industry in a critical and opportunistic way. Special thanks to Rachel Moseley for pushing my abilities as an artist and for the positive reinforcement to excel in this trade, and for bolstering my confidence early on. Thank you to Chris Metzen. You’ve been an inspiration and are partly responsible for this path as an Artist and Game Developer/Designer. Most importantly, thank you to my wife for pushing me and supporting me as an Artist. There are no words grand enough to show thanks.
Honorable Mentions
Here are some more folks that deserve a ‘thank you’ as well. Thank you all truly. You deserve more than a cursory ‘thank you’ but if I went on too much, this would turn into a novel.
Scott Berkenkotter
Steven Goodale
Mark Girouard
Dustin Aber
TJ Long
…and so many more.
